Visibly pregnant and searching
I lost my job due to mass layoffs at about 5 months pregnant and have been searching/applying/interviewing like mad. Now I’m about 8 months and super visibly pregnant. I’m so worried about having a baby without a job and delaying my job search even further. Any advice? Anyone been here before?

I am sorry to hear this. I do not references to jobs for you. Here is an idea though. Do the jobs you can do at home. It is just a thought.

Thank you from team pray to you.

Worrying is not good for your baby. Which is more important a job or a healthy baby? After you have your baby everything will fall into place even getting a job.

Okay do not panic Nicole read psalm chapter 51 all of it, read psalm 23 chapter all of okay. Go to church and hook up with some body in the who can land a job for you. Can you clean up, work in a temporarily daycare with children until you land that job. That will give time to carry the baby nurture the new comer you will be free for now. Work with animals until you have the baby. Reply back let jobcase know how you doing.

Hi Nicole Yelland , Helena Radomska-Pulak offer an excellent work from home suggestion. If you're interested in pursuing this option then check out Sykes and Concentrix. Both companies are aggressively recruiting Work From Home Client Care/Service representatives.

How about a remote job. Probably a good idea when the baby comes too. In the meantime find out what organizations can help you with bills insurance etc. God bless and a happy future for you both.

Good advice, but perhaps Nicole could work a part time temporary job for a few weeks for extra income. If it's temporary, she could still collect unemployment and/or perhaps short term disability for her maternity leave if her state offers it. I once worked a temp job while pregnant and they called me back later to work for them.

Hi Congratulations on your new bundle of joy. I really hate being the barer of bad news but, before I become this, remember stress is not doing you or your child any good and second I don't know of anyone that has been hired 8 months in. So, what you should do if not already done is seek unemployment, go get some WIC for you and your baby and food stamps if need be. No shame in needing to feed you and your baby and relax as much as you can until the child is here and breathing and start again. Good luck and enjoy.

If you are a believer, God knows better whar you need right now and maybe its to focus on the child coming. Keep applying and perhaos that awesome oppty will reveal itself when you are medically able to work.
We had a lady who was pregnant, due about the time her probationary time was up at the temp & hire in date. My company put her hire in on hold, FMLA states you have to be there a year, but as soon as she comes back she will be hired in, not have to go through the temp service again. You only tell you about what I know
