Donut in the drive--thru!!

So I was working in the drive thru which is pretty easy, you basically just hand people their food and drinks.. Anyway this lady came up and got a regular coffee with a chocolate donut, easy enough right? NOPE. She threw the bag in my face!!!! Started screaming about how we’re good for nothing and can’t even get her the right donut! Turns out she got a chocolate glazed instead of a chocolate frosted and was furious! I donut know who she thinks she is, but the wrong kind of desert does not mean you can throw it back at us!! Am I wrong??

Oh you're right, but handle it with patience which is very hard to do towards a person who behaves in that manner! Best to you:)

Donut withdrawals might have been the issue with her. But some people think that buy being loud and aggressive that they will get there own way.and it's wrong

Unfortunately, when you work with the public you get whack jobs. I just smile and kill them with kindness.

there is no right and wrong here. people suck sometimes. i would have let the supervisor or manager handle her and walk away for a minute.

It’s a complicated life. You are right she has no right to abuse or become physical. If she had just complained, I’d point out that I’ve seen people get super stressed over little details. Some hyper concentrate on one perfect thing they demand that day from the universe and hence the blowout. Recently I emailed my warehouse and they shipped the wrong product. To them it was a simple oversight. Took several calls to Amazon to fix it. There were delays, long calls, headaches, disappointed customers. They never understood. I changed warehouses after that. I instituted a reply request with specific confirmation to ensure they got the email and knew which product for the future.
