Louise, if you are not wanted by the police, illegal, or actually DO NOT meet the skills I could understand. However, it's your choice, if you like many others just want to work, do what your told, do the work come to work on time...why all the harassment?

Yes its silly. I had the computer over phone interview then the live person interview. She said she was passing me on and i still haven't heard back over a month. I have beyond qualifications for customer service or sales. Smh

I never worked there but I also believe these assessment test are a waste of time .I'm not mentioning any names concerning what company to avoid being sued ,I have seen personally first hand management doing the test or guiding the candidate in the answers .So if they are willing to do this it certainly shows it a weeding out process to get who they want hired .

I do agree with u. It use to be u fill out the application and someone will call u for interview and see were your head is at Now there are.assessment test that people have to take. I myself think that the whole thing is silly and a waste of time. the they take so long to call for a job. That to keep out good people that wants to work.

I used to work there and u have to take classes and test pretty much all the time so get used to it!!!

Mrs. Griffin: What kind of assessments are they requiring from you? Are they personality related? Industry knowledge related? Culture and education base related? They may need to know if you have the right qualifications for the job and weather or not you are fitted for that position or may be another. If the have many applicants especially in a big company like Home Depot, they may follow a more detailed selection process. The best way is directly inquire to any supervisor, they may be able to clarify your questions.. All the best for 2016
