legal question

I worked for a company in GA doing inventory work that required us to work 10 hours straight on our feet with no breaks. Is this legal? If not, how do I file a complaint against this company?

Hi Mary: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! That's a tough question, with an even tougher answer: it depends. I found an article about federal laws regarding rest/meal breaks: http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/meal-rest-breaks-rights-employee-29773.html I suggest reading it to see if your employer was in line or broke the law regarding your rights to breaks.
