Fired for having a non epileptic seizure at an office job

Hello everyone, I have been in a state of deep depression after being let go for having a non epileptic seizure at my new professional office job I had to sign a 2 year contract for to say that I wouldn't leave. These people are in the Healthcare industry supplying aides and support coordinators for people and I handled everything that came in first and distributed it accordingly. The hospital found that the seizure was stress related and from a lack of sleep. The job was stressful, but I loved it and now I don't know where I'm going to get my bill money and I have been inconsolable for a week. Was this legal? Thank you, Jobless because of the job...

Hi Mai-Ling Morrison I am SO sorry that your health impacted your job in such a negative way. They should have absolutely been more supportive. As far as legal I would always suggest that you reach out to a lawyer as they could tell you more. Don't beat yourself up, perhaps your body was trying to just warn you that the position you were in was just too much for you. It doesn't mean that you can't find one that you love even more!! My thoughts are with you! Keep looking!! Don't give up.
