Advice? Hopefully so....
I want to tell you what I have learned by first hand experience regarding job hunting... First of all I spent way too many hours combing through emails that I receive daily or more. I applied for many so called job recommendations from every Tom, Dick and Harry job website that I received and fit their qualifications. I felt much accomplishment for applying to 20 to 40 jobs a day. It would open up communication per my home and cell phone, texts, email and other forms of contact. This would result in a handful of interviews both by phone and in person which got me excited and thinking about a possible job in my near future. Anyways, what I want to say is I have recently googled job fairs, Michigan Talent Bank which is job part of Unemployment Office. They offer one on one help and weekly companies job fairs at this same office as well as lots of additional guidance because they are not working for their benefit but yours. Also try Public Schools Substitute paraprofessionals which you don't need a lot of skills to get hired. I spoke with them briefly and sent them my resume one day and they called me next day. I need to go to office and bring my I.d. and social security card. They will also fingerprint me but only looking for no felony or child infractions. So hopefully, I will be ready to work within a few days. My mother also does this and she is 80 hrs. Old and was hired last year...They said you can get a permanent job in many. Positions once you start this job. A lot easier and much more chance of getting better job due to already working there. That's all I've got...let you know how this progresses next week...

It is what it is

Who would say I will be 60 next eeek?

Excellent new strategy Jacki! Few job seekers ever take time to look into or take advantage of the free employment services available in their local area. These workforce centers typically offer professional job search resources, who's hiring information, and partner with area employers to host hiring events where job seekers have an opportunity for on the spot job offers. The US Dept of Labor has a free national employment resource website https://www.careeronestop.org/ job seekers can refer to find local resources and other free online job search tools. Thanks for sharing your job seeking success strategy with the community!

Did also want to say that actual company websites are a lot more likely to get your resume into hands of people actually doing the hiring right from the first application you send.
Congratulations, and thank you for the advice. Please let me KNOW if you got the job ect.
