I was on part time basis and worked for 07 months. Just after first month I was injured and was sent to the company doctor. He recommended light work( Modified work) and while I was doing those work I was put on two months medical discretionary leave without any pay? After the second month, I was terminated . the reason given was " I can not lift 50 pounds which is a requirement?" They disregarded my work-related injury. I am entitled to get some money from the insurance company but I am not at all happy as I am out of work ever since.
