I am in a delimma right now. I work for one of the largest Freight Forwarders in the industry, and I have my largest domestic account making a visit to my place of employment, o review our warehouse for possibly 20,000 sq ft of storage space needed. I am sure that I will secure it, however; I am afaid that I will make a mistake in the pricing verbiage, and piss off a really easy going guy, who basically says, "put something in a contract, that I can sign, just don't screw me over. I have been doing this long enough, where I think I can justify what I want to do.
normal warehouse pricing will be by rate per pallet per month or by square foot by month. Since this is a short term warehouse agreement, less then 12 months needed, I was thinking about pallet rate per week versus month. Should I show him the incentive savings that he may earn by doing a weekly billing? I need you supply chain guru's to do my thinking for me in this case...
