Anyone have crazy Toys R Us stories???

I would love to hear some stories! I loved my job, but during my time there I had some doozies! Some parents would sort of forget that their kids were in a store. It's like we became the babysitters or somethin. Well one time this kid was bouncing this ball pretty darn hard. I am watching it climb higher and higher and getting more and more nervous. I ask him to bounce the ball a little nicer and he reacts by slamming it even harder. Well it goes all the way up and smacks the light and the bulb shatters everywhere. The kid cried but he was ok, but I ended up with some stitches that day. Make sure to watch your kids ladies and gents!

I have a trip of a story for you. My husband is the IMS manager at the TRU in Lewisville and he saw a customer with a sapphire and a printer trying to re-tag items in the Fanzone to get them cheaply. He approached the guy and he ran out the store.

Cashier at Babys R Us

I worked at Babies R Us but building a display of these certain stuffed animals we got in was my craziest story. I didn't think it would be too hard, but then as I was halfway done and on top of a step ladder my boss said don't forget those last four boxes. I had to cram even more baby elephants, storks, rhinos, and ducks on top of my already toppling tower. If you're wondering it did not end well, haha.

My nephew worked for Toys R Us a few years back and one time he saw a little kid actually bite her dad when he told her she couldn't have a certain toy.

I just hated at no matter what store I worked at even tho it's adorable it gets a little nuts when the kids COUNT out their money in change!!!! Like if they bought something for $25 you knew it was gonna be awhile. The people waiting in line wanted to kill that parent AND me. What could I do though? Say hurry up and pay for your purchase?!

Goes with the job right? Personally, I would have snatched that ball and taken it away right there, but that's probably why I wouldn't have lasted too long working at a toy store. You are braver than I Keith. It's good you can share these memories.
