Letter of opportunity

I recently sat for an oral interview/exam. I received a letter from HR stating my score and placement for eligibility for an opening with eligibility in effect for two years. Should i continue to correspond with the HR rep with updated resume to acknowledge my interest?

My personal opinion.... never close a door. In any industry people move around, although this particular job may or may not materialize, You may run into this HR person at another company and contact and resumes may make your name stand out in the future. It's a small amount of time for a possible future opportunity.

Look at it this way. Wouldn't hurt.

I would follow up routinely for sure. That's a big window so you want to stay connected and demonstrate interest.

Absolutely! Any update to your resume is a great reason to reach out to employers. Give them a call and provide your updated resume - it's also a great chance to check in about when you can expect to hear back about an interview!

What methods of career advancement would you suggest for a very worrisome home life.
