
Rhode Island is hiring 100 contact tracers
The Rhode Island Department of Health is looking to hire 100 full time case investigators for an emergency short-term basis, which is currently planned to be 6-12 months.
Chosen candidates will conduct interviews of patients with confirmed or probable COVID-19, as well as any primary contacts of individuals who have tested positive, focusing on motivational interviewing and cultural competency.
Clinical experience is not required. The state will train you with all information necessary to conduct the interviews.
The roles will be on-site at RIDOH, remote work may be available after a 4-6-week training period and a competency assessment.
Priority will be given to applicants with the following qualifications:
- Applicants who are bilingual or multilingual
- Applicants available for full-time work (35 hours/week), including weekends
