All other duties assigned
When reading a position description I find this at the end. I wonder what else I can be doing besides the three pages I just forced myself to read. Will I be researching the balance sheet? Will I review the complaints for EEOC? Will I research contracts? Will I be doing something no one else will do? All other duties assigned is a deal breaker for me. If you are a Hr. Professional please put this statement in the beginning of the description so I can cross you and your company off my list of interesting possibilities.

It seems to me, they should know what other duties they may possibly assign to an applicant, and be able to name them, not just use general words.

Probably best to skim through the reading first, then if its for you, fully read entirely!

Its like a clause to me! A clause disclosure is always at the end of a professional conversation and paperwork.
That's how they get you. Then once you start working the work keeps piling on because you have no job description. Ask them to define it for you.
