Rehire
I recently got my pharmacy tech license and I contacted an old employer to see if I could go back. He told me that because I left them in a bind I was ineligible for rehire. I called HR today and they told me I was eligible for rehire. Should I confront this person or let it go. Either way I hate being lied to.

Sounds like you’re getting 2 messages. One from HR quoting you the general corporate re-hire policy and another message from the manager letting you know that he/she is not interested in hiring you back for (XYZ) reason. Remember, those managers are under no obligation to hire you. As a new pharm tech grad expand your search beyond that employer.
