My degree is in Mass Communications, the broadcasting end. Although I had internships in Radio and T.V. I never got a job in that field. My minors were in Marketing/Management and Speech. I have worked as a Retail Merchandise Manager for a major Hair Care company based out of Chicago while I operated out of Houston. I was in the field all the time hiring and training people for special events in the retail stores. I also trained store personnel on our product and checked store shelves for placement and cleanliness. I also worked with store managers to optimized shelf space and increase sales in the stores. That was one of my most favorite position. I've worked in Outreach also as an Alternative Transportation Consultant visiting companies and consulting with them on setting up Promotional events to encourage ride sharing. I am mid-career now and those jobs are hard to come by. I am looking for a career change where I can use some of my skills. I live in Denver now and wouldn't mind being based out of my home. Is there anyone out there with some idea for me
