What motivated me to come to work everyday was
Well, first off I needed a job to help support my living arrangements then later on my necessities. And then the boss/owner was going through a back surgery that caused him to perform poorly through each service. He promised to take notice of healthcare and superficial wound repairs and then compensate me bonuses and all that which you would like to hear. For three straight years not one day missed, might not been on time every morning, but when it was time to get the job done. I was his "main man." We would go through at least 30 men per year. None performed well enough as I did within timeframe of training. This causes him to delay other customers in the business. And much more stress on my body. He told me one day he was gonna take care of me. Such as let me work my own hours. And get the work truck to help him out. The more I asked, the more he regimed, so I figured he just didn't want to let me know what all he actually needed help with. Well the work was outside so extreme heat advisory would somehow fall into aspect, but you could guess he would most certainly try to make you feel like less of a man if you didn't proceed through the heat and sometimes extremely cold temperatures. His Brother Dennis help runs the company. That is who I believe had a lot to do in my lay off. One day, the first time he gives me a truck to go somewhere without him, I ended up in Sunflower, MS, just about 8 miles up the road from where I live. I go to help his brother spread dirt around apartment homes, like tractors. He had some guys working there already, and I brought my guy. Well we spread dirt around 4 quadruplexes before they finish 2. He sends them to break early, then 32 min later, me. He had been saying park the truck in a different spot all day because other contractors were there. But I ended up driving the pickup in which I came(drove) to work in to the convenient store right up the road. Well when I get back he was talking to a lot of people when we left the store. But tells me that he told me to park the truck, never to move it again. So me thinking that this was my boss man truck, says" that this is not your truck," to be telling me to not move it when other people have sat aside watching spread dirt like a tractor and he is riding on one delivering to low spots he simply could've driven the tractor across. So my response to the truck's parking might wasn't delivered stabily, but before that he'd been picking and nagging my work ethic , even though the two guys he had, didn't know what they were doing. So my response left him upset and he sent me walking 10 miles to my destination no pay. So after 3 years with Woods Lawn Care I just realized that I need to work for myself or companies that care if I'm alive the next day.
