To tell the truth or not
I was fired from my job of nearly 18 years after borrowing money from a tenant i served. This was against company policy. Since then the tenant pressed charges accusing me of stealing. I interviewed for a similar position with a different company and felt good about the possibility of being hired but i never received a call. When i did my own background check, nothing came up. When I applied with another company, the court case showed i had a pending case for "deceitful practices". I was found not guilty. I wont be able to have the case expunge until June 2018. Should i continue to apply for jobs and let them tell me there is something on my background check, should i wait until i further along in the interview process or should i wait until after my record is clear before applying for types of jobs i desire?

If you were found not guilty by a Judge or a Jury, that finding becomes effective immediately. Don't wait until the record is expunged to start looking for a job, just tell the employer you were found NOT GUILTY they should not be able to hold that against you legally.

Accommodate the background check make sure you get everything cleared there first. Any employer will do a background check that's priority. Seek positions your good in. Housekeeping is great get as many clients possible. You can make at least 20 an hour minimum. Once you have done that for a year , get a position in a hospital housekeeping Dept go from there nurses and doctors as clients to

Brighter days are ahead keep looking and don't look back.

Hello, fellow Jobcaser, Your reason for termination was engaging in financial dealings with a client, which is against your former company's policy. It would appear you knew this and yet you still did it anyway. Aside from breaking policy, it is a dishonest act and I can understand the reason for your termination. All that aside, you should continue to seek another job, but if they don't ask about such things, don't volunteer the info. If they DO ask, then be honest with them. There is an old cliche, "Honesty is the best policy." It may be old, but it is true and it still works in most circumstances. Best wishes in your search.

I would keep applying and let them know what happend. You held a job for 17 years, that has some weight. You made a mistake and regret it. Honesty will win,

I always think that honesty is the best policy. If you know they will find out anyway, you might as well tell them. The worst that can happen is they could not offer you a position

Once the ruling was issued as :" Not Guilty " I don't think they should be able to use this against you. Think how many people in Washington, DC have cases going on against them while they are trying to change jobs.

Always be honest with your potential employer. If you explain what happened, hr might make an exception for you

YOU SHOULD GO TO WORK FOR CallCore Media, THEY NEED PEOPLE ALL THE TIME AND THEY ARE DESPERATE FOR HIRES BECAUSE OF THEIR DECEITFUL PRACTICES,..
That's wrong
