So, I had a great phone interview today, and I think I can do the commute. I'm a litle apprehensive about the testing, as they are asking for Excel (i'm usually an expert), but have issues with v-lookups. How can I avert my diversion to v-lookups? I would love to get some insight, and maybe talk with someone regarding my anxieties.

Hi Danielle Mann ! My advice if you're nervous about a particular skill that you don't have for a job is to take a class on it or learn ALL that you can. You can check out Lynda.com for some online courses. There are tons on Excel! As for anxiety, I think if you feel more prepared that anxiety may lessen. It seems the reason you are nervous is because you don't feel 100% prepared. I would be the SAME way. However you can fix this! Gain some insight and if the job is offered and doesn't work out you can always leave or better yet go into it with the attitude that you will learn all that you can and rock that new job! : )
