Hello my name is lauren Ferris and I would really like to work for your company if there is any jobs available for me. I would love to know how to get interviewed please.
You should apply for jobs in your city. Once the high school and college kids go back to school next month, there will be plenty of openings in retail. With the holidays approaching, there will even be more opportunities. Apply online to any supermarket or department store, then call them for an interview. You really don't want to relocate for work. You probably won't make enough money to do so. In my area, lots of stores have "help wanted" signs up, already. Many will even hire on the spot.
I talked to my Store Manager, and unfortunately we don't have any stores in West Virginia

If it does not work out with Lowe's, have you tried contacting Home Depot, or working as a freelancing landscaper for real estate companies? I used to do that 18-19 years ago for and Antique store and later Long Reality (as a side gig). It was a rewarding experience, because I could work on my own pace, determine my own hours and learned many trades, fixing up both houses, and yards, along with learning invaluable landscaping and gardening skills.
If neither work out, give MOM 365 a call. They are a nationwide company and hire novice and experienced photographers to photograph babies. I have been doing it for about three months as of now, and have been thoroughly enjoying the moments with moms, dads, and their families and babies in hospital rooms, while photographing newborns. After 18 years of teaching, I never thought that I would love it this much, but I do.
They train you from the ground up, supply all necessary camera & sales equipment, and you can earn commission on top of an hourly wage.
