How hard is it to get a Engineer job?

Engineering qualifications are now narrowed down to a more specific experience, which leaves little room for others who want to learn and expand their knowledge.

Age is important...sorry if your 20.30.maybe 40 easy..50 hard 60 impossible..that's just the way it is..I have electronic degree..built several air defense system..can't get job now...61 yrs old

As a senior you are discriminated by your and health and if your age being so close to retirement you think your not your living a lie, the knowledge I know, should not stop me from getting a high paying jobs, and no one is there to defend you, not even the politicians.

It is not hard as long as you have a BS in engineering. Civil jobs are easy to get. For mechanical, electrical, chemical and software most people have an MA. Send every resume with a cover letter or cover email. You may have to send hundreds of resumes out. Good luck!

I have a MA in Electriclal Engineering and if it’s not in a manufacturing setting your screwed. Being over 50 doesn’t help. Yes we all want to work and pass down our experience and education to younger people. So give us a chance we do know jape to be productive and on time daily.

Should we tell Roosevelt to check his English before pressing the SEND button?

Civil Engineer one of them much more hard work for beauty of artificial view

It is not hard if you have completed high school and worked hard. If you don't have the resources for a 4-year degree, please go for the Community college first and then 4-degree. Good Luck!!

It depends on your analyzation of the job market but repeated approach can enhance your opportunity to recieve a job.
Very hard for unqualified individuals.
