Engineering qualifications are now narrowed down to a more specific experience, which leaves little room for others who want to learn and expand their knowledge.

As a senior you are discriminated by your and health and if your age being so close to retirement you think your not your living a lie, the knowledge I know, should not stop me from getting a high paying jobs, and no one is there to defend you, not even the politicians.

It is not hard as long as you have a BS in engineering. Civil jobs are easy to get. For mechanical, electrical, chemical and software most people have an MA. Send every resume with a cover letter or cover email. You may have to send hundreds of resumes out. Good luck!

I have a MA in Electriclal Engineering and if it’s not in a manufacturing setting your screwed. Being over 50 doesn’t help. Yes we all want to work and pass down our experience and education to younger people. So give us a chance we do know jape to be productive and on time daily.

PhD (3.8 GPA) with 30 years of experience. Looking for Engineering Manager.

It is not hard if you have completed high school and worked hard. If you don't have the resources for a 4-year degree, please go for the Community college first and then 4-degree. Good Luck!!
