Short term Disibility

If the company is unable to accommodate the restrictions that my doctor has specifically ordered for me is the insurance company who administers the short-term disability are they able to deny V claim they have already sent it to peer to peer review the company still has not been able to accommodate me and they're still the insurance company still waiting on a response from my company

The determination of rate, volume, responsible parties and their respective percentages of disability payments are covered in the nation’s laws, and citizens desiring redress in that area, should make inquiries of the Department of Disability Administration

My company did the same thing to me! My employer said no they could accommodate me...

Yet STD said they could based on an examination of the medical records that are I provided to the doctor for short term disability.

My employer says they cannot accommodate me yet won't pay me short term disability based on the evaluation of a doctor that's never even seen me!

I was forced to file a discrimination claim under the state of California laws regarding accomodation of a person with disability!

Hi sherry williams-osazuwa - sorry, I'm a bit confused. Are you saying that the company that is unable to accommodate your short term disability is the same insurance company that is denying your claim? That seems like a huge conflict of interest. Is that correct?

You should contact a disability lawyer for a free consultation and see if you have a case here, as that sounds very very odd to me.

Best of luck, and I hope that everything works out!!
