I live in Broomfield Colorado and I'm wondering if you're in Georgetown do you want to stay there or actually move closer to Denver? I'm not a mechanic but do you have certifications or a license? If that's the case go to Indeed.com and plug in mechanics and apply for those positions. You could also, go to company websites: Meineke, Grease Monkey and see what positions they have. You could also, query 'temp agencies that handle mechanical positions'. Hope that helps.

@James, Denver-Metro really pays lousy unless you are in a career field and are a white collar professional with skills. Degrees do assist in certain occupations, but is NOT a guarantee of potential employment. I posses an M.S., and a double B.A., as well Two-Honorable Discharges from the United States Armed Forces with Three Service Medals, and Volunteer/Mentor work for over 81/2 years. I am still unable to land an interview past three, and land a Job and have given up in the past two years. The economy still sinks (post 2008) and descent to good jobs are indeed difficult to find.

Hi James, Not all jobs disclose the pay in the job description. Therefore, I suggest going on to Glassdoor.com to get a better idea of pay in the Denver area. Hope this helps!
