post interview Anxiety!
How long should I wait for a call back after an interview? My interview yesterday went really well and I don’t want to blow my chances with a follow-up call today.

Hi Sandra: I know the feeling - waiting back to hear from an employer can feel like forever! Instead, take the initiative by sending a thank you email to the person who interviewed you. Reiterate how excited you are for the opportunity, and how you'd make a valuable contribution to the company. If you don't hear back within a week, call or email again and see when you can expect to hear back.
During your next interview, don't be afraid to ask when they're thinking of hiring an applicant for the position. That can give you a good reference for how long they'll take to get back to you.
If you don't hear back, don't take it personally! Just keep your head up and move on with your job search.
Best of luck!
Always take a business card. This will have person you interviewed with an email for follow up. Within 24 hours reach out, thank then for the opportunity to interview and let them know how much you want the job in a professional way. You can get an initial feel after a response. A few days later a follow up email and ask where they are at this time in the hiring process. Thank them again and leave it at that. They will usually give you a date for a follow up interview or say they are not interested. Follow up and professionalism always is the key. Don't bombard them with too many emails or calls because you don't want to be a nuisance just secure the job. Good Luck.
