You are REALLY asking??

I’m so tired of ILLEGAL questions from employers! You wouldn’t believe the questions they ask these days, trying to find out if you have a disability. Even after you get the job offer, they still ask all sorts of illegal questions like “Have you ever been treated for mental illness?” Yes, I have thank you, I have epilepsy and I take medication for it and no it is NOT going to affect my job.

It's true there are a LOT of bad questions like this in the interview process. Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and report them.

Keep in mind though, employers ARE allowed to ask questions like that after a job offer has been made - as long as they ask them to everyone. It's a bit weird, but yeah they are illegal before an offer, but legal afterwards.

If it won't affect your work performance, they CANNOT legally withdraw the job offer. You are protected under the ADA from that type of discrimination.
