What happens now?
I got a job at a Fresco y Mas location. The job is rather under-rewarding honestly. Everyone says the first job's always hell. But, after a month, the company filed for bankruptcy. What do I do? Should I stay at this job or leave before it goes kaput?

I woukd start looking for another job. But, keep the money coming in if you can get on with somewhere else. Check Publix or winn Dixie or home depot even

The company I work for now there contract expires Sept 1st and everyone who worked for advantage sales solutions could be out of a job so sams Wal-Mart's bjs that's thousands of employees with no jobs but I was just offered a good job at heritage country club here in richmond. I really did not think I was going to get a job before my current one ended. I put in 200 applications. So don't despite there are better jobs out there

Just because they filed bankruptcy does not mean they are out of business if it was a chapter 11 that's a reorganization of moneys. Unless you hear from the employers that the company is kaput don't leave. Now if they don't pay you your check from working yes then you leave but if your getting paid keep the job but look out for a better one since you feel the job is not as rewarding as you feel it should be

Stay,as long as they are paying you,and start looking for new job while continuing to work there.

find another job a soon as you can before its too late

Filing for bankruptcy does not necessarily mean it's over. Usually it is used as a last resort to avoid large credit debt. However in the case of a large company credit means everything. I would recommend looking for more work under the pretext of "actively looking but not available immediately". Stay with the company it may or may not go under but it would be in your best interest to have another job lined up just in case.

Stay until you get another job! Any keen sense of not going get paid say bye-bye!

Get Out!!! Last one hired first one fired! Goodluck to you and your future endeavors.
