Frustration With The Politics Of Temporary Job Services!!!
I have a question for everyone. I have had a few temporary job assignments over the past year. Should I add them to my resume; or not? I feel like I shouldn't because employers will wonder why. I have a part time job in the evenings; maybe I should just use them as a reference. I want to work two jobs; a full time job in the morning while keeping the part time job in the evening. Just tired of all the politics when dealing with temporary job services. I live in a small town in Ohio, where all of the jobs are connected with one temporary service or another. There are 6 of them I can think of off the top of my head. Thank you for your input.

Hey Willmer, Great question! I would definitely put them on your resume because it is really good experience you are gaining by working those jobs. When you add them to your resume, just make a note that you were contracted by the temp agency after the name of the company you worked at. You can take a look at my profile to see how I've done this. Let me know if you have anymore questions!
Good question and several ways to approach. Any and all experience / new skills learned is valuable. My suggestion is to write your resume such that it states Independent Contractor or Project Manager ( what ever you feel comfortable discussing), note accomplishments and new skills as you would in the body of your resume. Have separate sheet ( mainly for your benefit ) with specific information for each company that you can elect to share or not. This is great conversation foundation that shows the interviewer your adaptability, resourcefulness and skills. In this day and age, it is not uncommon for good people to have a variety of timed projects. In my experience, companies sometimes are caught up in maintenance of accounts and need some one knowledgeable to source or lay the foundation of a project that they cannot afford to divert a key employee.
