Resourceful and Always Willing To Help Others!

How can we get More Help?

How can we encourage more Mentoring opportunities!! This is a story of a convicted Felon who couldn’t even find a dishwashing job after serving his sentence and being released. Despite all the rejection he chose to stay on the right path and endured an innumerable amount of financial, social, and spiritual challenges as a result. Through God’s Grace, his Courage, and solid Mentorship he was able to reach an unimaginable level in his education and now want’s to help other’s who are struggling. I honestly don’t know the first thing about about the frustration and bias Ex-felons face trying to re-enter the workforce but I do know that there's plenty of Ex-felons out there who are eager to pursue a new path in life; if they ONLY had a CHANCE. How can we get people like Dan Geiter to join online communities like this and support members struggling in specific areas? https://amp.businessinsider.com/a-convicted-felon-is-opening-a-college-2016-8

Acknowledgment is the key to promote more help. For example, I see members supporting each other on this site all the time and most of the advice is right on too. If people aren’t receptive to the advice or forget to show gratitude then the info suppliers will eventually stop. Mentoring is great but making good use of the information and acknowledging the messenger with a thank you, praise, or kudos promotes more will to offer support. Hope this makes sense.

Hi Carlos, This is a newsworthy story but more often than not people chose to remain attached to familiar habits. These type of stories usually attract a lot romance towards empowering oneself and other but the eventually wear off. Change isn’t as easily achieved as one might think but I see you point. Mentor those who are willing to accept mentorship

Start with yourself Carlos. Help out other people from things you’ve learned from your own experience. Believe me the spirit of goodwill - WILL move forward.
