How to use HOPE Effectively
When you have been working since school ended. Not having confidence in studies, you go straight to work, yet currently apply for sooo many job but 99.8% of the calls you get are machines, and 90% of those are for school. You have faith, not the best but you do. Speak positive words to others when they are giving the negative. As things began to work out for them and little things come and they start to doubt, you remind them where they were and what faith they spoke of. If you believe He can get you a job, and all of a sudden you have not 1 but at least 6 job offers, would you question gas money or actual call backs from just 3 of the 6 interviews? But it's our perception.. I started off apply online from morning till 10-11 pm daily.. working for myself.. finding work
It hurt worse because I have hope. You remember Steve Urkel... that's hope for me. It's cool and good, I even love to accept or use him for others, changing a frown to a smile or at least changing their perspective. But now, passing the anger confusion hurt etc even thinking I pass hopelessness, every time I open my eyes... "Howdy Brandon HAHAHA"..I have no emoji to show 1 eye barely open, and steam coming from my ears nose eyes but Carl Winslow I fell you. Someone please tell me how to use hope effectively. I mean my car now is tripping adding more weights, and I think "Thank God it still cuts on"..... I'm grateful believe me, but feeling where I am is on me, I don't know what else to do and it hurts so bad. I heard it said, it's a pain no pill can reach.
Hi Brandon Thomas - thank you for sharing this inspiring message to the Jobcase community. It can be really easy to give up and lose hope on the job search (we've all been there!).
The fact that you have yet to hear back after applications might show us what's going wrong. Are you following up your applications with a follow-up email or call? Additionally, if you want a great free resume template, upload your resume/finish filling out your Jobcase profile, and then you can download it as a new resume. It's formatted and automatically sorted and made to look very professional. Check it out! It may help.
