Interview Question???
I was asked about my age during an interview yesterday and I think my answer may have spoiled my chances. Is that an appropriate question? Should I report it?

Hi Edmond, Your interviewer shouldn't ask your age, as this could be a slippery slope to EEO violations (if you're over 45). You can't undo the interview, but in the future, don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and refuse to answer that question. Just a simple line like "I'm sorry, I'm not supposed to answer that" is enough for the interviewer to move on.
