Hi Joanie, I searched a few titles like "animal care" in your zip code in our jobs section and it looks like there a number of positions. Petco seems to be hiring the most. Not sure exactly what you are looking for in way of 'working with animals' but it appears there is veterinary type jobs, petstore type jobs, and animal care type jobs (at places like Army/Police/entertainmentcompanies). The ones that seem easiest to find are the first - petstore type. Maybe start there?

Also, not sure how committed you are to that passion but its never too late to pursue a new career. You could begin a road to veterinary school - either as a veterinary technician or a veterinarian itself.
