Waitress/Server

It’s gotta be the shoes!

I’m waitressing this summer so I can pay bills while I search for my “Dream Job”. Busy restaurant and the $ is good but my dogs are killing me!! What’s the best shoe for this gig?

Maintenance is Key to Happy Feet!!! Clean socks, regular Pedicures, and open toe shoes or sandals when your not at work.

I've worked on my feet all day too in the past and have worn either Dr. Martins or Dansko. They're both great. Yes, I know they are a little expensive but well worth it.

I have to spend $100+ typically on a good pair of shoes. If u are on your feet as much as I am don't get cheap. Your feet are too important and u will be happy with the investment. When buying a good pair of shoes they should feel great immediately. Don't worry if u buy a good pair they will last a year. My last pair were Johnson & Murphy. Mens shoes which probably doesn't help. I can run around waiting on people 12hr plus a day and my feet will be the only thing that doesn't hurt. So my advice, don't go cheap!!

Buy you some Merrell shoes. I wear the clog type. I have about ten pairs of different styles but the same sole. I've been wearing them over 15 years. I've had six back surgeries on my spine. I'm a RN and am not suppose to be doing as well as I am. But if I wear these shoes I'm fine. I actually buy mine on ebay. You can get some amazing deals. They are sort of pricey new but on there you will find a deal. Also they never ever wear out. I still have my first pair and they don't look the best but are fine for every day wear. Best Wishes. Hope this helps. D

I also am on my feet all day and I wear shoes for crews. I learned about them years ago when I worked as a cook and was on my feet all day there on greasy hard tile floors all day. They're very comfortable, light weight, and best of all guaranteed slip resistant. They have free catalog and online. Shoesforcrews.com

Dr. Schols is your best bet that's what I wear!! Because I have flat feet and I'm on my feet 8hrs a day.
