i want to thank every one who takes time out to make a difference in people like myself and others lives it brings peace to my heart to be apart of something that gives back or pays it forward in life. i,m new but have hopes somewhere i will find a place to give back and pay forward with my skills and dedication. i need a job and i'm self driven, hold strong values, have honor and hold interest in learning new captivating ways to express my talents and skills. i have certifications in optical, i,m a artist at par who has painted everything except just learning airbrush,i do tattoo work from home to survive but im really in a bad spot in my life due to a wrong decision and now i hold a felony conviction and just being released i have nothing to get me started in following my dreams of becoming a stepping stone in society i stay with family bless them but times are hard on them so to be a burden and stuck with only faith that god knows my heart and the hunger in my belly for a better me and a better world i can only humble my self to reach out to all who have words of wisdom and hope that there is light at the end of my journey i,m willing and able to take on any job that is close to south haven Michigan and need help finding any resources for help with clothes and food please and thank you for any prayers or words of encouragement, sincerely Wesley Mitchell..... ps. one of my paintings i did for van buren county sheriffs dept

Volunteer! Help your reputation by getting to know a new group of people that can form a fresh opinion of you. Volunteering is great for that.

Have you helped employers or coworkers achieve something in the past? Add those accomplishments to your profile. You are more than the tasks your do!
Ask people to praise you in your Jobcase profile. Recommendations from people who can speak to your character and work ethic will make a big difference for you. Just press "Ask For Praise" and send a request. Ask them to describe your qualities.
Here's a resource specifically for ex-offenders: https://exoffenders.net/. It might help you learn about your options and some tools to re-enter the workforce. They also have a list of companies that are known for hiring ex-offenders: https://exoffenders.net/employment-jobs-for-felons/. Also, If you are looking for a position at one of those companies, click on our “Jobs & Companies” section (in the top navigation bar), and select Companies. Then put in the name of the employer and search near your location.
Have faith in yourself, and ask people you know for help. If you make it easy for them (for example, giving them a link to your Jobcase profile), I'm sure they will be willing to do so.
