During April, i was contacted by a company name Usapremium Logistic to work as a Quality Control agent to verify quality on merchandise from third party for Amazon. During that time I processed and deluvered 120 packages; I was to be paid$40 per delivered package at the end of the month. I never get the paid, althouhg I wrote several mails. All my information was erased from their page and the only proof I have of this job are the mail from banks and PayPal applications. Do something like this ever happened to you?
Hi Rosario Aponte , Sorry to hear you're in this predicament. You have a couple of options you can use to try to recover your unpaid wages. First, file a claim with the US Department of Labor, (see website link Below). Filing the claim is free but don't expect to see a quick resolution. These offices receive hundreds of claims on a daily bases and have limited resources so please remember to be patient.
The next option is to file a claim with your city/state agency in charge of administering the Work and Hour Law compliance. You can also choose to sue your previous employer via small claims court. There's a fee associated towards filing a small claim which varies depending on the size of the claim. Google small claims court in your state for more information.
