I'm hired
I have been unemployed since July 14th. I have had several job interviews. I actually had two interviews for different positions at the same agency last Thursday. I really wanted the second job I interviewed for. The position was for an Employment Specialist position with one of the better agencies in my area. I got a call today and I start Monday. Tomorrow I fill out all the employee paperwork and get my name badge. The amazing thing is that I am 61 years old. This goes to show that it is possible to get a job at any age.

You're 61 years old ? Thats ok,maybe you're not ready to retire yet but you can go ahead & work a few more years til you're ready to throw in the towel.Congrats on having a new job.

I'm 56 ,live in a homeless shelter and was unemployed for months and depressed.But I kept looking for work and I got a call ,went for the interview walking distance away and was hired in the spot,like.Ive been working ever since (July) and the company loves me and I love my job.
