After it is over
I'm wondering what the world will look like #postcorona. Will we all feel proud of our actions? What will the world look like? What kind of jobs will there be more of?

I'd like to also add that I hope folks will continue the momentum with the earth starting to heal. To build upon any environmental gains we are seeing. There are entirely too many cars on the roads for one thing. :) Many companies learned real fast that they don't need everyone commuting to an office. Remote work is a win-win for a number of reasons, so we may be seeing a lot more of that.

My thoughts are with several here. #1 - nurses and first responders need a higher salary for very obvious reasons. # 2 Always be prepared for a major catastrophe as Mother Nature can strike at any time anywhere and this virus situation will happen again sadly. As long as we keep invading the territory of our animal kingdom this will happen again. All life must be respected as all life is on this planet for a reason. #3 that human beings will wake the hell up after this and treat all humans with respect and dignity. I lived through 9/11 being a native Manhattanite and the one thing I noticed afterwards is how kind and polite people were to one another. It was breathtaking to witness. Unfortunately it lasted 6 months and society went right back to its old ways of being self centered and obnoxious to one another. It broke my heart to see it. During this virus situation I noticed people in their 50 - 60's helping out those even older. The young were arrogant as hell and not even being considerate to keep their damn distance at the grocery or drug stores. When you did ask them nicely to back up you received an eye roll with an FU or told to get over it. Not sure what kind of parents raised the youth of today but they have no respect for others yet demand that they be treated with respect. Life is a two way street not a one way. When are humans going to learn that we all bleed red blood and we are all in this together and share the same dreams, have the same hopes and aspirations. Humans are indeed their own worst enemy. We are suppose to be intelligent life yet were is the intelligence levels. All I see is people being self absorbed. I do not consider myself a religious fanatic but more a spiritually evolved individual. We are being warned on multiple levels to change our ways towards one another yet no one seems to notice. #4 My hope is that the economic situation elevates itself once again so that the millions of unemployed will not go through what happened in 2008 with the financial recession as that situation was heart wrenching. That small business will be able to get back on their feet and thrive again. Most importantly I wish for a better world for all mankind as we all live on this planet together as one. Call me a dreamer if you wish but it is the dreamers who have the vision to make the changes we dearly need. The power of one...that is all it takes to start a change.

David, Thanks for your comments. I am not sure what the new world will look like but two things I do know. I don't take life for granted and always be prepared. We, as Americans, will be stronger post virus...

I really hope and pray that when this pandemic is reasonably over our world will be a better place to live in....that people will think twice about how they act towards each other ...that mankind will be more gentle with each other....these last few years have been hell on wheels for most of us little guys trying to cope with the realities of life as we now know it....the way I see it ...our lives can only get better after this if our elected officials grow a conscience during this trying time....only time will tell....God bless us all.....

Not sure about more jobs but maybe better paid. Seems the ppl we don't pay nearly well enough are the very ones we look down on as if they didn't arrive hard enough in life. Now those people are the grease that's keeping things running as "essential personnel".

That is something to think of. I don't think that is running through many minds. I know mine is to be better prepared for the next disaster.. lol. My family make fun of me cause I was preparing for something.. but they apologized when this came.
I hear ya there! And just to think, we aren't even on the downhill side of it! 😳
