Have had messages from employers and when I call back they don't call me back? Why leave me a message wanting to interview me but not call me back?

Are these from companies where you've submitted an application? Or are they unsolicited -- in other words you've not contacted them before? If you haven't applied with them, beware. They could be scammers.
