Last week, Toys R Us announced its decision to close its doors. Our hearts go out to the current employees, as the company has yet to disclose the details. Right now, questions about severance, healthcare, and unemployment are swirling, and current employees are understandably frustrated, confused, and fearful for their futures.
That’s where we come in. So many of us can relate to how Toys R Us employees are feeling right now, because we’ve been there. We’ve started the Toys R Us Alumni group as a way to rally and support these employees by doing what Jobcasers do best: share your experiences, offer support and praise, and help kickstart their job search in any way.

What's sad is when this happens the common worker surfers... I am sorry to say this but I saw this coming Toys r us has been selling touts that are available in the Mart stores like Walmart Kmart and online 3 times the price! Sane thing with Radioshark and Macy's! The new trend in oiur capitalist economy in not monopoly, but rather survival for the fittest it's hard to relate but most of these giant stores are gonna all go to extinction of they don't change the way they operate.

Wow, it's so great that you guys are focusing on the workers. I was just thinking about how sad it was that the store itself is going. I can't imagine how those who worked there feel right now. Thoughts & prayers for the current employees!
Definitely a difficult time for Toys R Us employees. May God strengthen their hearts through this ordeal and grace them with new opportunities, His divine favor.
