Cindy depending on what type of job you would like or what type of people you want to network with .. like if you want medical professionals or retail, etc.. then you go where they go.. but going to community events or gatherings is helpful.. like picnics rodeos, church activities etc.. like they say" birds of a feather flock together... However, you can also check out meetup.com for local professionals meeting up. Usually they are hosted by a company and revolve around a specific topic, like healthcare or technology.
