Huge Mistake
Do your research before accepting a position. I was recently hired in as a driver Manager for a Transportation company. I interviewed and told them what I could and couldn’t do. I’m on my 4th week and have been talked to daily on the decisions I have made. Even though I attempt to ask questions I can’t get answers as everyone is either on the phone or MIA. Guy that does my job put in his 2 weeks right after I got there. The communication is absolutely terrible in this place. Huge mistake and already am looking to get out.
Oh Douglas!! So sorry to hear it!! You are bearing all alone!! So strong you are!! But remember if that s hurting your self respect or feelings there is no harm in looking for other opportunities. You can see at indeed or ziprecruiter, localwise, Glassdoor. I will chant for you!!

Send it in writing over and over and over until you get results . This way you have a paper trail.
I went through the exact same thing at my last job.
Ive been working for 43 years and i have seen a decline in quality in the work place to include the military. It is hard to get used to but when i see high school graduates that cannot spell or wake up at 6am i now understand where it comes from. Best of luck to you buddy. Its Idiocracy out here.

I was very shocked and at the same time surprised. It seems that many companies now want someone that is dead ,dumb and bring . The more Initiative you have by asking questions and making the effort to show that you're willing to participate and work hard it backfires.

looking to switch from retail to just about anything else! the hours suck and working weekends has gotten old, not to mention, the pay is not enough to get all the bills taken care of. Does anyone have some advice for a person with no college degrees? I'm done with customer service.
Hang in there ok Meghan! There is always a job of some kind out there for you. Just keep trying ok and stay positive and something will come your way. Pray to God if you have to! Pray does work and I will say a pray for you right now ok.
