Lyft/Uber Drivers must keep track of events
This is the advice that a fellow driver gave me. He said that he always keeps track of what events (concerts, sports, etc) are going on in the city, and always makes sure to set the venue as a destination a bit before the event lets out.
Does anyone else do this? Do you use any apps or websites to keep track of the events?
I find out where the event is and go in the opposite direction.

Sounds smart to me. I talked to a friend. His nephew works Uber. He said you have to keep track of everything...money..tips. He says his nephew goes to the airports in the area too. But he also said the job isn't reccomended for everyone. They make it sound so easy on the phone. You have a requirement of a certain amount of rides per month too.
I am an Uber driver and once i sign in it tells me what events are happening in my city. have you seen that on yours?

It is very good advice, people drink and can't drive, cars get towed, ect... use it to the best of your ability to capitalize on the the events.
I bet someone could just check out any of their local concert venue's calendars and print them out. Then they could mark them on their phone to know which nights and times they will get out around. You could probably figure out who your riders would be based on the type of music maybe?
