I've been trying to quit my job....
I'm a Registered HHA and have been working with this company for about 4yrs. I do get different clients but I've been with the same one about 7 months now. I'm bored here and have been searching and browsing other positions else where. I called this facility yesterday and received a call back today. I was very confident I could get the job. I really want to try it. Just the thought of a different environment and more than one client a day. I love to stay busy. Coincidence you think because my job called me and offered me 6hrs more. What do I do? I'm ready to move on. It just seems Everytime I try to quit they make me employee of the month or they find me more hours.

Hello Diana, Like Genevieve said, this is a decision that is ultimately up to you. But my advice is to leave. We are conditioned to believe that work is about making money and having the security of benefits and a regular check, which are important. But too many people suffer the same angst you're experiencing, telling themselves this is as good as it gets, at least I have a job and it's really not that bad. Yet they go to work day in and day out hating their jobs, bored or overworked and in the end, have little to show for it. While there are tons of people who both love what they do and make a good living. If you're not happy where you are, getting more hours or more money is not going to make it better. You're wasting time and happiness. Go where you can be happy. Just make sure you don't find yourself constantly running from job to job, if you do, it may not be the job that's causing your lack of happiness.
Best wishes!

Hello Diana, I think that is a decision that is up to you. If you feel that you current company isn't working out for you anymore, then it may be better for you to move on. You want to be somewhere that makes you happy in the long run.
U should stay. Being bored st times is apart of life. Dont take what u have for granted. If u quit just have another job lined up
