Warehouse For Hire!
Is there anyway I can apply for a general warehouse worker job in person. I don’t have any experience working in warehouses but I know that I can convince the bosses to hire me if i had the chance to hand them my application and talk to them in person. I tried applying to a couple of big warehouses around my house but the security guards told me to apply online and someone would contact me. I also been trying the online applications but I know they won’t call me back because I have no previous work experience. I’m very reliable and a hard worker and I'm sure that I can learn to do the job fast but I just can’t find a way to talk face to ace with the people hiring. Any suggestions please.

Manpower temp agency if near you hired for warehouse work. Google other temp agencies that are near you. This way you can get your foot in the door. Also try to tell them you will volunteer one day out of 7 days if they give you a chance. Thats one way to be innovative and possibly get the job! Resume- library. You don’t have to have previous experience for entry level warehouse jobs. Apply online with the experience you have and include a cover letter explaining your skills and enthusiasm for the job. Most of the jobs in the general warehouse area are trainable. Managers look for employees who show their willing to work hard and learn fast.

Hey vance, Google the name and address of the company to get the local phone number then call and ask for the manager or human resources.

Where are you looking for work? Big warehouses like FedEx and UPS have online tour appointments you can schedule to meet with supervisors before you apply. Go to their websites and find open appointment close to your house.

I would suggest calling the ones you applied at to follow up on your application. Just ask to speak with the hiring manager and you can ask if they received it and if you can set up a time to meet with them in person.
