About the offers that I am getting...
Hi, I am Social worker, (bachelor degree) and i have experience working in health care field, but I am getting a lot offers for Nurses, CNA, RN but nothing about social work....There is any advice?

my advice is get a nursing liscense--RN -then an NP-you will be able to make five times as much money, and always have jobs available--social workers get paid less than janitors and are treated WORSE and there are VERY FEW JOBS available that are not just scapegoat low pay revolving door gigs. This is coming from a master;s level social worker who has taught social work at two universities and created MANY in patient, outpatient programs. I make after 40 years ONE FOURTH of what i made 20 years ago for the same job and am disgusted with the deterioration of the american health care system-or should i say HELLth care system.

Hi Monica, We can definitely help you with this! I would suggest going to the top of the page, click "My Info" and then go to the bottom of the page so you can choose your preferences. Click the edit button and in the "Industries of Interest" field, select social services and any others you would want to receive alerts about. Let me know if you need more help!
Yeah, I think the social services wording will help if you were in that in LTC or acute care. But also look heavily under case management and non-profit, as well as directly looking at and applying at homepage sites of any agencies or health care providers you know i.e. Easter Seals, Arc, Catholic Charities, Goodwill, etc. that you may feel qualified for. Also There's a site called 'ihire' where you have ihiresocialworkers, ihireadministrators, ihirenursing, etc. However there is a monthly fee for that one. ZipRecruiters and Zing are great not because they can differentiate your needs very well but they offer thousands of jobs and it is extremely easy to, just like on Indeed and Careerbuilders, to apply to each job. I just had 39 interviews in 6 months and 1 week. I KNOW what you're going through! GOOD LUCK to you.
