Gaps in my work history
How could I explain the gaps and that some jobs I have only worked like 6 to 8 months and have left. Most were temporary but I'm still having trouble with employer's in interviews

You wouldn't leave any gaps if your the one filling out the job application. Have all your numbers correct your the one making up the jobs , name of the company's and your friends numbers and names as supervisors. Your last job or current job is the one they call . When they call they will be speaking to you thinking that there talking to your former or current employer. What part you don't understand stand.

Hi, You are not required by federal law to report temporary jobs received through a staffing agency. on a Resume'.But you are required to report temporary jobs earnings to the federal government (IRS). So you could omit any temporary jobs acquired from a staffing agency from your Resume' if you wanted. As far as gaps on a Resume', you could fill the missing time of unemployment by typing any volunteer work you might have done. Even if it is helping a neighbor by mowing his/her lawn. How many days a week you mowed their lawn and so on. Good luck.

I have gaps in my employment history as well, but for the most part mine where do to actually seeking full-time, permanent employment. So I had to take many seasonal and temp jobs just to keep food on the table. I am still currently looking for reliable full-time work. But off the top, if the question is asked in an interview (sometimes it's not depending on the company); I just tell them that my gaps are due to temp jobs while seeking full-time, permanent employment. Most of the time they do not see that as an issue. Good luck!

The easiest way I have found is go to by the year. When you put that down on your resume you can list projects. Project 1, 2011 Project 2, 2011-12 Project 3, 2013-15 Project 4, 2014 Project 6, 2015,6 and so on. You are not lying but you are also not being specific. You are a politician, very vague.

Fill in your gaps with friends and family numbers, let them know make up company names and put them down saying you have been working for years for that company. Say your always looking to better your self and the company. Make sure the last job you put down you give a number that you will always have access to so when that job calls you they will think there talking to your last or current employer. They really would be speaking with you. My cell phone has 2 numbers my original one and a goggle number total different same phone. Go get your job

Hi Adam: Great question - and cool poolside pic! I think it depends on the reasons why you went from job to job. If the employers weren't a good fit, that's okay - just frame it in a diplomatic way. If you had a family emergency or a major life event, I'd tell interviewers, just don't go into explicit detail. As long as you show you're hardworking and dedicated, you should be fine!
Do you want a job or not . People want you to say what they want to hear. Your the one filling out the application how can you leave gaps. Make sure that the last employer when he calls he's speaking to you.
