I GOTTA GET OUT OF MAINE!!!!!
For the first time in my life I am completely on my own. I REALLY want to move to Puerto Rico. It's my favorite place in the planet. I really really want to help make it beautiful again. I just don't know where to start.
I've been searching jobs internationally, including Puerto Rico. The pay there is very low. Sure the cost of living is cheaper, too. But in all likelihood, be prepared to work a low paying job. Research the cost of living & prepare a budget accordingly.

My understanding is that there isnt much work in Puerto Rico because the infrastructure is still bad off.
You might think about what it it EXACTLY that you want to do and whether it is doable right now or not.
I could be crass here: I note that we have been exporting jobs top other countries to exploit their low labor rates. If the infrastructure down in PR ever comes back, we should be exploiting the PR labor market and at least keep the money in the US.

Hi Michelle i know the feeling. I too am tired of my location and have a strong desire to leave where i am, i've been praying and waiting on GOD like never before i know HE 's going to eventually direct my path. My advice to you is pray unto HIM and allow HIM to really speak to your spirit about your next move. For i believe if you do that and fully believe, your next move will be your best move. GOD is the finisher of our Faith so that means if you set your affections on HIM, HE will move mountains for you! Also if you don't remember nothing else i say, remember that HE is in control of all things so if you seek HIM and HIS Righteousness first (above anything else), HE will give you the desires of your heart. (Matthew 6:33) I pray all goes well with you in all your endeavors through the faith i have in CHRIST JESUS.

There is a great jobsite called jobbatical with job postings in Europe where they will actually pay to relocate you. I know it's not Puerto Rico, but there are some really great locations. Most are tech jobs, but some are customer service related. They even give you info on the location like cost of living specs. You should check it out. I'm child-free for the first time in my adult life and considering this option myself. Hope this helps!
