CNC Machine Operator Duties: Set up and operate computer numerically controlled CNC lathes and grinders. Mounts work piece in chuck or faceplate, manually or using hoist or cranes. Performs machining operations on a variety of parts. Reads and interprets a variety of engineering and quality specs. Responsible for all inspections. Uses precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges. Performs other duties as needed.
