Terminated
I am a buyer with 23 years of experience. Improved the on time delivery from 40% to 97% in 5 weeks. After reporting incident to HR that I was harassed by the Production Manager, I was fired a few days later. The reason stated for my termination was "not meeting company expectations:

My lawyer obtained my files and emails already. They only provided emails for the first and second week I was there, these were the first 2 weeks where I was learning how that business operated. What they don't know is that I just forwarded my lawyer all the data and emails where the President, my manager and the 2 senior buyers congratulating me and praising my great accomplishments.

My friend in wAS. Fired for something similar and the general manger was involved too I went to the labor commission and the officials took the case so in doing it cuz this company. Has been doing thisfor a while specially with people that have no legal status for work here and this people have rights as well the officials ask me to set and amount to proceeds everything. Came out to 8,000 plus wherever labor commission are going to charge to me is not about money but the abuse if I get something will be alright but this people need to stop harassing people I said u should do the same. thing in our life time we should do what we can to help and bless people so we can take our prayers to the lord because is considering a sin if we know how to do the right thing and we didn't do it. Or what kind of prayers we bring to the lord doing nothing about it. Blessing everyone

Sounds like the company has low expectations.

Yep, I was also fired after reporting harassment to my supervisor. They made up a story and when I signed up for unemployment I was denied. The reason stated was "not meeting company expectations ". We are known as whistle blowers. You have to play the game or you haven't got a chance. This is a different world we live in. Good Luck!

HI Jose, This is wrong, not right. Look into this and fight it, if you were harrassed by the Production Manager and reported it, then they wrongfully fired you. This is serious and you lost you Job over it, just go to the highest person that you can and report it right away. You may not get your Job back, but at least you will be helping the next person that they do this to. NO ONE HAS A RIGHT TO HARRASS YOU!!!!!!!!. Well good luck, but please do not let them get away with this. Take care. Yvonne

Their reason for termination sounds pretty vague, and could have meant they expected you to keep your mouth shut regarding the harassment. Obviously not a healthy work environment; but listing the time delivery improvement on your résumé should impress hiring managers as you search for tour next position. Best wishes.

Mr. Jose Pablo Torres, sounds like this was a political situation that you ran into. Production Manager and HR are connected with one or more office/management staff, they are all buddies. You attacked one of the pack, and the rest of the pack well come for you. I bet they even sat down and figured how to screw you inreference to your position. You now are screwed because they have enter reason for seperation; Termination, cause Not meeting company expectations. They're all going to stick together on this, and now you have to figure out how to spin this into something in applying to another job position. This is a hard one, but it sounds like you might have some sales experience that you can use to sell your self, try using contacts for reference's or previous employment contact reference's out of the companies you were in contact with as a buyer to a perspective employer/position. Try to keep it as an independent/contractor sales/buyer, self employed. Just a suggestion. Or does any of those companies you dealt with have an opening to represent there products.

Jerks arent worth working for.

Right, wrong or indifferent sometimes a person just gets caught up in some things! It's like you're at the beach swimming and then all of a sudden a rip tide pulls you way out from the shore unexpectedly. The best thing to do is collect yourself and move on. The experience you have in your profession will be of tremendous value in your next job!
I raise the Bullshit Flag on that one. Don't fight these martinets. Lick your wounds quickly, update your resume, and move on. And all that anybody needs to know is that your last employer "went through a reorganization", and don't elaborate further.
