question? i applied for a job as a doorman on craigslist..... sent my resume etc.... the same day i got a response from them and they asked me if i could send them a picture of myself... i did so... now i hasn't heard back from them.... now i'm not gonna say whether i'm good looking or not as i don't know anyone who thinks themselves to be ugly, but do i have a discrimination case against them being that they asked to see my picture, and i obliged, and then i haven't heard back from them... my wife seems to think i do....
I had that happen to me before and the likely hood was did you pose a threat to people you are open the doors for. In my case it was for the Federal Government and they did not want anyone that had tattoos. The next comment is what state this happen in. There are 23 at will states that they don't have to have a reason to hire or fire. Google at will states and see if your state is one of the at will states and good luck to you.

Seems like you have something, especially if they got your picture based in looks or race.
I’m not a lawyer but I don’t see a case if they’re asking all of the applicants for a picture upon application.
i am afraid not some job do include a certain look if you well and u did so by not meeting them in person too might have played a role ....maybe just thinking out loud
No u dont. Just continue to apply other places.
it sounds like a scam and they were just tricking u into giving ur information to them so they could steal ur identity
