#How_did_you_find_your_job?
Hey everyone! I’m curious to hear how you’ve approached your own job search in the marketing analytics (or similar) space in US (NYC especially).
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with a few different directions — like quick “Easy Apply” bursts, posting and commenting in relevant groups to build inbound connections, scanning for announcements in marketing and tech communities, and reaching out directly to people at companies I admire (usually just to ask about their projects and culture, rather than pitching myself right away). I’ve even considered going old-school by visiting companies in person (not sure how effective that still is!).
I’m exploring new opportunities myself and would love to know: what’s worked for you? Did you rely on alumni networks, specialized job boards, AI-driven search tools, or something else entirely? Any tips or personal success stories would be super helpful. Thanks in advance — looking forward to learning from everyone’s experience!
