Teaching
People either are born to be teachers or they aren’t. Some people have stronger natural intuition than others, which helps them to excel in conveying a new concept to another individual. It also helps to have compassion - understanding that when a person’s eyes don’t register comprehension it’s likely they don’t understand what you’ve just explained makes you a better teacher than some others.

As a teacher for over 20 years I couldn't agree more! Eben

Funny how sometimes you still have to grow with the passion to teach. After 5 years in a regular classroom, 10 years preschool administrators, 1 year school age Director and just figured out special education is my niche. Now I'm back in the classroom happier than ever! But, was definitely never thinking I would be working in a more restricted environment for children with autism and severe behavioral disabilities and loving every second of it! #BornToTeach

I'm Eugene..Go Girl, Come-on now, and see about me! I'm not perfect, I'm me. I've made bad decisions and wrong choices, but I'm me. I've said the wrong things, I've said the right things because I'm me. I've loved the wrong people and I'm still me. If I had a chance to start again, I wouldn't change a thing, Why? Because I'm me. There are a lot of good things about me, you just need to look past the imperfections to see what's right. If you can't do that then it's your loss. Because, I'm the best I can be, I'm Me! As a past (retired) educator, I agree. However, I must say such an innate gift can be overridden by many of the issues teachers face that motivate them to leave the profession. Those pertain to administrative problems (bullying, unfair treatment, failure to take teachers' safety and behavioral concerns into consideration) and nepotism and employee cliques on campuses, etc. etc. etc.. I've heard those stories from friends and colleagues at the primary, middle, high school, and adult school levels and experienced it myself. Although I retired in good standing, a primary motivation to retire was that I was no longer willing to tolerate small-minded despotism and inflated administrative egos who made unwise decisions about students, despite extensive instructor experience and backgrounds in psychology, administration, social work, etc. It's in the best interests of students to corral despotic administrators so gifted inspired teachers want to continue teaching and are able to do so in a supportive positive environment.

Commitment, Compassion, and Continuing Education- Life long Learners #Teachers

You are very right note every body is born a teacher. It is sad and unfortunate that some join the profession for prestige or money (salary).

Better teacher is you know your student what you can do to doing happy your student

I have taught grade school, high school, and college students. I enjoy the older college students because they are more mature and motivated to learn. They also appreciate a good instructor :)
I love teaching as well..
