You need 6 months to a year of work experience to get hired. I suggest you get experience through job temp agencies where they will help you get these temp jobs that usually last for 6 months but if I were you I would take any amount of months of work just to build your work experience

I would check out the Blood Labs located near you. They are always looking for Phleb's. You will get all the experience you need. Usually the main labs pay well.

Phlebotomist Hospital at Beaumont Health

A tourniquet that is tight enough is your first tool. Outpatient clinics is a good place to start. The hospital I worked at wanted 1 year experience in the field.
